Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026

1. Overview

BoardRaid ("we") operates this website and the Minecraft client mod BoardRaid. This policy states what information we collect, why we collect it, and how far you can ask us to delete it.

2. The Website

This site is purely static pages. It uses no cookies and loads no third-party analytics, advertising or font services. The leaderboard and Find Player request data from our own endpoints.

As with any website, the server records regular access logs (IP, time, request path, browser type). These logs are used only for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

3. The Client Mod

When you enter Ranked or a room, the client connects to our game server and identifies you by your Minecraft account name and UUID, and syncs matches and results; configs, logs and screenshots stay on your own machine (the .minecraft/config, logs and similar directories).

4. What We Do Not Collect

  • Identity details such as real name, email address, phone number or ID card number;
  • Payment information: sponsorship and payments go through third-party platforms, and we never touch payment information;
  • Location, contacts, or other files on your device;
  • Anything unrelated to playing.

5. Third Parties

This policy applies only to the website and client provided officially by BoardRaid. The third-party services below each have their own privacy policy:

  • Mojang / Microsoft: Minecraft accounts and their public APIs are provided by them.
  • QQ (Tencent) and Oopz: the community entry points listed in the footer; joining them means each platform's own policy applies.
  • GitHub: the source links for third-party components (see OSS Licenses) point to GitHub.

6. How the Data Is Used

The information we collect is used only for the following purposes:

  • Providing and maintaining the core features of the site and the client: Ranked, rooms, the leaderboard and Find Player;
  • Syncing and displaying match results, score and rank;
  • Handling requests you make through our communities, such as renaming, data deletion and reports;
  • Monitoring how the service is used and how it runs, for gameplay and balance improvements and capacity planning;
  • Detecting, preventing and handling technical problems and abnormal behavior, such as abnormal results and API abuse;
  • Announcing service changes, maintenance and rule adjustments when necessary.

7. Data Transfers

Our servers and data storage are in Hong Kong, China, and the developer lives in mainland China. Information you provide while using this site and the client (see Section 3) is transferred to those places for storage and processing.

If you are outside those places, providing us with information means you agree to that transfer and processing; personal-information protection rules in other jurisdictions may differ from the ones where you live.

We take reasonable and necessary measures to make sure this information is processed securely in line with this policy and is not transferred to unrelated organizations; where a transfer really is needed, it happens only with matching security measures in place.

8. Retention and Deletion

Matches and results are kept long term, because the leaderboard and match history depend on that data; access logs are kept for the shortest time needed for troubleshooting.

To have data deleted (renaming, being pulled off the leaderboard, clearing results), contact us through the communities listed in the footer and provide your game ID and the scope of what should be deleted.

9. Minors

This project does not collect information from children separately. Minors should use it with a guardian informed, and follow Minecraft's own age requirements; if there are questions, a guardian should contact us.

10. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated as features change. After an update, the "Effective date" at the top is changed at the same time and the update is announced in the official communities; the updated version takes effect on the day it is announced. If you disagree with the update, you can stop using the service and ask for your data to be deleted.
